We collect the following additional information from our Authorized Customers: names, email addresses, and social media account information necessary to provide the Services, including but not limited to social media platform tokens, profile data, and content scheduling preferences.

Information Usage

We use Personally Identifiable Information to customize the platform, to make appropriate service offerings, and to fulfill content scheduling and publishing requests. We may email Visitors and Authorized Customers about service updates, new features, or information related to the subject matter of the platform.

Social Media Data

When you connect your social media accounts (such as Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, TikTok, or Threads) to SocialGenieAI, we access and store certain data from those platforms as authorized by you through OAuth permissions. This includes profile information, page/channel data, and the ability to publish content on your behalf. We do not access or store your social media passwords. Access tokens are encrypted and stored securely.

Information Security

All of our employees are familiar with our security policy and practices. The Personally Identifiable Information of our Visitors and Authorized Customers is only accessible to a limited number of qualified employees who are given appropriate credentials in order to gain access to the information. We audit our security systems and processes on a regular basis. Sensitive information such as social media access tokens is encrypted at rest.

Cookies Usage

Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our Visitors and the services they select. We also use Cookies for authentication and security purposes to protect our Authorized Customers.

Your Rights

Visitors and Authorized Customers may contact us to update Personally Identifiable Information about them or to correct any inaccuracies by emailing us at support@socialgenie.ai.

Data Deletion

SocialGenieAI provides the following ways to delete your data:

1. Social Media App Permissions Removal

You can remove SocialGenieAI's access to your connected social media accounts at any time through the respective platform's settings (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn). Removing app permissions will revoke our access to your social media data.

2. Channel Disconnection

You can disconnect individual social media channels from within the SocialGenieAI dashboard at any time. This will remove stored tokens and associated data for that channel.

3. Account Deletion

To delete your account, contact us at support@socialgenie.ai. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, all your data will be permanently removed from our servers.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our platform ("Log Data"). This Log Data may include information such as your computer's Internet Protocol ("IP") address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our platform that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

Data Retention

We will retain your Personal Data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your Personal Data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Children's Privacy

Our Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to take necessary action.

Privacy Policy Changes

We will let our Visitors and Authorized Customers know about changes to our privacy policy by posting such changes on the platform. If we are changing our privacy policy in a manner that might cause disclosure of Personally Identifiable Information that a Visitor or Authorized Customer has previously requested not be disclosed, we will contact such Visitor or Authorized Customer to allow them to prevent such disclosure.
